This is just a quick note to thank your company so much for providing such a wonderful tour and life experience for my mother. Mum came back so excited about the time she spent in New York and telling us of all the lovely people she met on the tour. In particular I would really like to thank Christine for her guidance and compassion, as well as Wayne and Barbara for their wonderful care of my mum.

Kind Regards, Cathy Kepa.

The trip planning was excellent .the tour guides was very knowledgeable and friendly. The trip gave a very good insight to the three cities and this was my third trip to Montreal and second to Quebec and really came to know a lot more about the cities and planning to revisit. Comfort tours should plan trips to the rockies banff Calgary etc. thanks for giving my family visiting from India a great memorable time

This response is from Paul and David Cooper . We just returned from Boston last evening , June 24 , 2012 . We had a very enjoyable  time on our 4 day tour of Boston . learned a lot of the history of the city and area and had a lot of fun in the process , ate at some very good restauraunts also , enjoyed the company of a lot of good people .

Our tour HOST was very funny , pleasant , very well educated on the subject"s she spoke , and very easy going on the little bump"s that arose during our trip and quick to solve all . In the future trip"s we choose to take with your company we would LOVE to have her as our tour guide . I"m speaking of PAM COOK !!!!!!!!!

I want to thank you for the great trip to New York city from June 14 - 17. I was travelling with a co-worker, her daughter and friend for a 'girls' weekend away'. I wanted to send you just a quick email, but there was so much to say about our trip that I cannot seem to keep it short.

I have to say that our tour got off to a difficult start the first day. Some passengers were late and held up the bus on the very first pick-up stop, then the bus was held up at the Canada-U.S. border behind 2 Mega buses. Natasha, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable, always positive and willing to help out. She stayed positive through all the delays and I appreciated her upfront warning that the border crossing could take about 2 hours - and she was right.  Unfortunately, this meant we did not have much time at the Corning Glass Museum, and even with shortening this stop, we were quite late checking into the hotel. Our driver John seemed a little grumpy about the whole thing, but I really cannot blame him with the extremely long driving day.

I am pleased to say the trip ran very smoothly after that. Our first day in New York was very exciting. Hardy, our 'hop on' local tour guide, gave us an very detailed overview of some of the sights. John, the bus driver, did a fantastic job of navigating us around the incredibly busy streets that day.  I liked that Hardy took us to some of the lesser know spots, like the High Line railway gardens. I also was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the Central Train Station. We had a fantastic lunch in its market area, including a piece of the best cheesecake I've ever tasted! Then that evening we wandered around Times Square and attended the upbeat broadway show "Sister Act".  I was a little nervous about missing the 8 pm tour bus ride back to the hotel, but we managed taking the Amtrack train back. The only tricky part was locating which train to take in Penn Station. It was a bit confusing with the two different train lines and we had to ask some police officers for directions. Once on the train, we had a 40 min ride to New Brunswick and then it was a surprisingly short walk back to our hotel.

The hotel in New Jersey was quite clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast.  It had a fantastic cranberry and almond granola cereal, lots of fresh fruit and made-to-order omelettes.

The weather on our second day was perfect for the harbour cruise around Liberty and Ellis Islands. I really enjoyed hearing about the history behind the immigration into the United States. Natasha had shown us a film recounting what it would have been like for an immigrant coming to th
We crammed a lot of sightseeing into a short amount of time. Part of me did not want to go home on Sunday, but part of me was exhausted - we hardly had time to sleep. I liked stopping at the Waterloo Prime Outlet malls on the way home.  We did mostly sightseeing in New York city and I preferred to do my shopping here at the Prime Outlets where I could get some great bargains.  Thank you to Natasha for the shopping coupons! 2 hours of shopping went by fast and I was very happy with my purchases.

Overall, it was a wonderful trip.  A perfect balance between guided tours and free time to do our own exploring.  Thank you to Natasha, John, and Comfort Tours for such a great time. I will definitely consider taking a vacation with Comfort Tours again.

Sincerely,
Paula
