We had an amazing trip, and it met all of our expectations. Our driver, Al, did an awesome job.  When there were traffic issues on the way there, he knew exactly how to bypass and get around them so that we stayed on schedule.  Traffic in New York is insane!  I wouldn’t want to drive a car there, let alone a bus, but Al was awesome.  He maneuvered that bus like it was nothing for him.  There were so many tight turns, but his expertise was outstanding.  We were so impressed.  (My husband is licensed to drive a bus, so if he was impressed, you knew Al was doing an amazing job.)  And we never got on or off the bus without a smile and pleasant comment from Al.  I’d be happy to ride with him on any future trip. Our guide Eliane, was so organized, upbeat and patient, and anticipated our needs.  She definitely knew what she was doing and everything ran smoothly.  We felt safe in her care.  Like a mother, she gave us pointers and coaching, and made sure we were aware of things to do, and not to do on our travels and free time.  She pointed out so many sights on our bus tour, provided excellent recommendations for our free time, and was very accommodating.  She was able to answer all of our questions, and instinctively knew the interests and limitations of the individuals so that she could make excellent recommendations with detailed instructions so that we could make the most out of our trip.  She checked on us often, and even managed to capture some nice pictures of us, yet she was never intrusive.  By the end of the trip, she felt like a real friend/family, and it was difficult to say goodbye to her.  I really hope that we have the opportunity to have her as our guide on a future trip. The hotel was lovely.  It was in a good location within easy walking distance to the train station, restaurants and amenities.  The lobby is clean, and we enjoyed the band playing in the bar the night we arrived.  The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable with soft sheets and lots of pillows.  And the breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve been to, with so many options.  We loved the coffee in the to go cups, set up in the lobby in the morning.  J The trip was a good balance of touring and free time.  We were able to see more than we ever thought possible in one trip. OK…. this notification just reminded me that I meant to send you a note telling Comfort Tours what a marvellous time we had on our trip to Nashville out of Penetang.  Our tour guide Julie was as fabulous at taking care of us in and out of everywhere, and so was our bus driver Harry.  These are wonderful people who guide us and are full of information.  I look forward to always seeing them both on our trips.  This was our 3rd trip and enjoyable as N.Y. and Chicago (which we would do all over again, as there was so much to see).

We had a fantastic trip to New York June 8 to 11.The staff was awesome. Elaine made us fell welcomed and comfortable, she was very knowledgeable, helpful and well organised.
