I would just like to say how impressed I was on my recent trip to NYC with the driver Al and our tour director Carole Hartley.   Both very professional, courteous, humorous and a lot of fun to be with.  They made the long drive most comfortable with little stories and lots of pit stops. Al – what can we say about Al, except, he is one of the best bus drivers ever.  Being able to maneuver the bus in those tight New York streets with cars, delivery trucks and bicycles on either side, along with pedestrians darting out in front of him.  I believe he has not only eyes in the back of his head but eyes by each ear too!     I think in one of his previous lives, he must have been a race car driver in order to drive in that hectic city!   He was amazing, patient, helpful and genuine, a very great guy and hope to have him again as our driver for my next adventure to maybe Chicago, Washington or Boston. Carole is very knowledgeable and goes out of her way to remember everyone’s name and addresses them accordingly.  She loves telling stories of her previous experiences and most of them are very funny and also very informative by way of giving a few pointers when visiting a new city.  Carole speaks different languages and helps her guests if they have difficulty understanding her instructions for drop off and pick up points.   She also helps other travel agents who may be on the same walking tour as us by exchanging tips or helping with translations.    I love the flag that she carries to ensure that everyone can see her petite frame, when she wants us to congregate.  Carole is like a Mother Hen, making sure her little chicks are all accounted for when out on these tours.  Her sparkling personality is a delight and would not hesitate to travel with her again in the future.-Patty
