What our passengers are saying?
"Dear Carole,
Maggie and Marcia want to thank you so much for the wonderful tour of NYC.
This was really the best way to travel, it was much more than what we expecteed.
Carole, we really apreciate your kindness, patience, knowledge of NYC,
and being just so organised, which made our trip even more enjoyable.
We hope if we do the Chicago tour that we will get you and John as our tour guide &
driver as we thank you make a great team.
Cheers! Maggie & Marcia"
I booked a tour to New York with your company. We departed Dec. 2 and returned on the 5th.
Our tour director was Pam Cook. I just wanted you to know that I was totally delighted
with the whole trip.
Pam certainly made it very easy for everyone and her very professional way
of handling everything about the trip was much appreciated.
I would not hesitate to book another trip with her as the tour
guide again. The driver of Dennys bus lines (Keith) also was excellent and it was
he who saved us from becoming involved in the massive snowfall near Buffalo by
circumventing the storm.
It was a pleasure doing business with your company.
Hello,
This was my 3rd time traveling with Comfort Travel and cannot say enough about what
a great experience it was. I want to comment first that your company is a class act for
not canceling our trip.
We had a small group of only 16 for some reason and all of us were grateful it was
not canceled being that the numbers were so low.
The other 2 times I traveled with your company
the bus was full. I guess with Christmas being so close people didn't want to take off
and spend money in the big apple. Crazy people!...it was GREAT!
We had a blast and would like to say that Sue was absolutely wonderful!!!
She is such an energetic and knowledgeable tour director.
I hope to travel with her in future.
Her laugh was infectious…and she was great fun to have on the trip.
She made the driving hours fun.
Ken was great too…very personable, experienced and we felt very safe in his hands.
I have a suggestion.
It might help your website get more people if you could pair up with a parking
garage or at least gather some info so that people see options on the site.
It would make the tour more welcoming I feel.
Also cab companies are another thought to pair up with.
We would have needed a parking garage and a cab from there to get to the drop
off point.
We came from Oshawa and usually get dropped off so it is not an issue
but this time we had a vehicle to park.
We contacted the parking lots around and had to do a lot of legwork, even
driving out to see the sites and ensure our car would be safe etc.
With the storm that was predicted
we ended up parking at someone in the family's house and took a cab there and back.
We had no issues and did not mind. I'm just thinking though if you had an alliance with
a parking lot and/or cab company it might be win-win for all involved as they are
getting customers and you may too as people may feel more comfortable coming
from a distance.
We found a lot of people felt the seats were not super comfortable on the bus…
I guess there are more comfortable buses out there but it was fine…
it was a bus tour and there were frequent stops. Cup holders would be nice….for sure.
We had a great experience and will travel with you again. I am still thinking of planning
a NYC excursion for my workplace this summer or early fall and also am very interested
in Boston and Washington for some more personal travel.
Thanks for everything,
Judy P
George and I recently went on the December 9-12 New York Trip.
We had a really good time.
Ken and Sue were excellent. Ken has the patience of a saint to be able to drive and navigate
New York at Christmas time and Sue is very professional, courteous and knowledgeable.
They also kept us entertained on the bus so the travelling time on the road did not
become tedious.
Good company, good guides and well organized. Would highly recommend Comfort Tours.
Hi,
I just wanted to write and say that my grandmother and I had a wonderful time.
I have never been on a bus tour before and because of this trip
I would not hesitate to go on another one.
The trip was well organized and I felt hit every highlight I wanted to see in New York.
We even had time to check out the Radio City Spectacular.
I did not feel rushed or overwelmed.
The hotel was beautiful. We had a knowlwegeable tour guide showing
us some of the sights in Manhatten,
Mark was his name. He had a real knack for being able to compare New York to Toronto,
which I felt was an added touch as it seemed he tried to show his knowlege of both US and
Candian information.
Pam Cook was our guide. She is very informative and fun to listen to.
The movies and games she brought to fill in some travel time was
both informative and entertaining.
There were 22 of us in our group and after the first day she made me feel like we were
old friends spending time together.
Always making sure we were all there or knew where we were.
A wonderful and engaging lady. I would go on a tour with her anytime.
Keith was a very skilled and friendly driver. We were able to by pass a storm that would
have delayed us 24 hours. He also manovered the bus through Manhatten without getting
flummexed or annoyed (if he was we sure didn't know it). The banter between Keith and
Pam was refreshing and enjoyable.
It seemed they had a mutal repsect for each other and had
a good working relationship.
I can't wait until I can book another trip with your company.
Thank you so much for making this trip such a wonderful experience.
