Natasha is an outstanding tour guide! Not only does she possess and share her wealth of information, her sense of humour and willingness to assist everyone on the bus to have the best time possible was very evident. Natasha and Wayne (our driver) went above and beyond to make sure the trip went smoothy and they made the long trip there and back enjoyable and educational with many movies and videos. Just a brief note to thank you once again for a fantastic experience on the NYC adventure. I loved every moment and especially enjoyed the incredible knowledge that you imparted to us on so many levels. When traveling, I love to know the history of a place as well as have suggestions made by those who are "in the know". I think each and everyone of us relied on your experience and wonderful suggestions during our visit. Your enthusiasm was contagious! I am hoping to see you in the spring for the Washington trip. It was a wonderful trip and I have just e-mailed Natasha to thank her for her excellent, enthusiastic and most knowledgeable guidance. John, our driver, was also very helpful and accommodating--I have just send on positive feedback to Denny's about the trip as well. Having people who can assist with suggestions, directions, history and specific recommendations as well as being funny and happy, make the experience even better. I am hoping to do the Washington tour in the spring with Natasha--she is definitely a pleasure!! Once again, thank you for providing us with so many interesting facets of NY. By the way, the hotel was gorgeous. Although not a breakfast eater myself at such an early hour, everyone raved about the breakfast provided.
Our NY trip (Nov. 8-11) was excellent and deserves 4 stars. Our driver, John, was first-rate and knowledgeable; our Tour Director, Natasha, was excellent, and our Manhattan guide, Hardy, really knew his history and facts.
Natasha was thorough, had all the facts, recommendations, and details ready to share. She was on top of the developments regarding recovery from Hurricane Sandy, and she and John adapted the route and itinerary as necessary. She also had thoughtfully brought DVD's that were relevant - on NYC, the Statue of Liberty, and the World Trade Centre - and they added to our knowledge and appreciation of what we saw.
We felt the trip was really good value and well planned. We'd recommend Comfort Tours to anyone - already have! - and plan to take the Chicago tour next year, especially if we can get Natasha and John.
