What our passengers are saying?
We really enjoyed our tour of New York.
Jackie was a great tour manager. She made the time spent on the bus entertaining
and it made the trip feel shorter. She was great at ensuring that we knew what the
plans were, what was happening along the way, where we were expected to be
and when we were expected to be there.
Wayne was an excellent driver. We felt comfortable and safe with him behind the
wheel and he made the trip entertaining. It was hilarious that he had kleenexes for
everyone after the sad movie.
Mark Daly was a great tour guide for the city. It was nice to be shown around by
someone with a deep knowledge and love of the city and his typical New York
attitude added to the experience. His commentary was not just factual but personal
which I liked a lot.
The price was excellent especially considering everything that was included.
We enjoyed all of our stops around NYC and really liked the impromptu stop for
dessert at Chelsea Market.
All in all we had a great experience with Comfort Travel and will definitely
recommend it to our friends.
Thanks
Thressa
Hi,
Our tour to Chicago was great. Our Host Carole Hartley was absolutely tremendous!
She made everyone feel comfortable and she was always available day or night if
needed. She kept us on time but didn't make us feel rushed.
She did a great job altogether and I will definitely travel with her again.
Well done Carole!!!
Also, our bus driver was very courteous and was a safe, responsible driver.
Thanks,
Donna Millman
My husband and I recently toured with Eliane and Ken to New York City (May 26 –
May 29, 2011). We cannot sing their praises loudly enough. We both thought
Eliane’s skill as a tour guide could not be beat. She was so cheerful, calm and
in control she allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the trip. Ken’s motoring abilities
were amazing – manoeuvring New York streets like a sedan in a mall parking lot
on a Sunday morning. The two travel days were very well paced with stops
at just the right time and fun quizzes to pass the hours.
We really enjoyed the New York City tour guide. He was very knowledgeable
and considerate of everyone in the group. We especially enjoyed his
recommendation for lunch in the Grand Central Station food concourse.
The choice of hotel was excellent with a good location for food, drinks and access
to the train station. Also, the breakfasts provided a great start to very busy days.
All in all, we have come away with great memories and can’t wait to take another
Comfort Tour – Chicago next?

New York City - May26- 29th WONDERFUL! WONDERFUL! WONDERFUL!
What can I say about Eliane and Ken. They are great representatives for your company.
It was a whirlwind trip;packed with knowledgeable information from A to Z!!! I must not
forget Matt in New York City - EXCELLENT!!! Keep him on your payroll. I definately will
spread the good word;about Comfort Tours Canada. We were almost in tears having to
say good-bye to one another in the parking lot! What are we going to do tomorrow!!!
I'm looking forward to doing it all over again - BOSTON. One hitch - I want Eliane and
Ken to go for the ride! Word of mouth is your greatest advertisement; thank-you for taking
good care of me and all the passengers on the bus. Yours truly - Patricia Lim ______________________________________________________________________

Natasha was the best! She is very knowledgable in her field and the additional information
on DVD helped me to know a lot more of Canada. The other two tour guides were also
excellent. John also got A+ for his driving. I got my moneys worth.
I commend your company for the excellent planning of the tour.

Good Morning;
Once again, I had a wonderful time on my Comfort Travel trip to Chicago. I've now been
to New York, Washington, and now Chicago with you, and had a great experience on each.
Our tour guide Carole, and driver Rick were fantastic. I do though have a few suggestions:
1) The hotel, though beautiful, was too far from Chicago to make commuting ourselves
convenient. Both the New Jersey and Bethesda hotels were easy commutes from the
"big" cities, and most passengers travel by train or subway on those trips. We were
not hindered by the hotel locations at all. That was not the case with the Schaumburg
hotel. Commuting from Chicago to it meant both taking the train AND then a cab from
the closest station. I don't believe ANYONE on our trip felt comfortable with this. It's
unfortunate, because on Saturday, many had lots of free time between our Navy Pier
experience and the 6pm pick up, and would have traveled to the hotel ourselves had it
been easier. I honestly understand the business sense this hotel makes, but one outside
the city, but more commute convenient would be better
2) Include the architectural boat tour in your schedule of events.
What a wonderful experience.
3) Please, please recommend Absolutely Segway Tours for those interested. 10 of us
experienced the best city tour ever. We actually were able to get closer to the city's
highlights on our segways than we were with the bus and our tour guide could not have
been more accommodating. We had a bad experience with another LARGE bike and
segway company who would not even acknowledge us, so we were quite put off
and really, really disappointed. We walked 1/2 block further down and found Absolutely
and The owner could not have treated us better. I can't wait to get back to Chicago and
go on their Fireworks Tour (every Saturday night).
4) Our trip was scheduled to spend 2 1/2 - 3 hrs at Navy Pier. There is almost nothing
to do at Navy Pier if you don't have young children. I would suggest you just allow Navy
Pier be a drop of spot for anyone interested in spending some of their "free time' their.
Boy, I hope the above didn't sound too critical, because it's honestly meant as constructive
criticism and suggestions for the future. We had a great time, and I would definitely
go back again.
Sincerely
Carolyn MacVicar
