What our passengers are saying?
Our host was Eliane and she did a great job. Very expressive, informative, knowledgeable and helpful. Gave great tips for touring around the city. Always felt we were in good hands if we needed help in any way.
Felt the city tour from 9 to 3 should be shorter - perhaps only a half day to allow for more free time to explore the city.
New York City Trip – Labour Day Weekend (Aug 31 – Sept 3, 2012)
Tour Guide: Gerda Francis Bus Driver: John
This was our first trip with Comfort Tour Canada and definitely not our last. We’re already looking forward to Boston or Washington, or even the Italy tour next year. We had a fantastic time, thanks to Gerda and John and to our fellow passengers on the trip – you were all a great group to spend time together! Gerda, you were a hoot, well organized and kept us on track at all times with our scheduled events. And John, you were a true gentlemen and your driving was exceptional – how you managed those streets of Manhattan, keeping us safe throughout the trip was beyond belief. Also kudos to our Manhattan hop-on city tour guide, Hardie, who was so knowledgeable about the city with tons of information every turn we took.
We’d like to reiterate the testimonials of Annette Vernon & Doreen Middlecoat, as well as Sunaly, especially with respect to the wish for a much longer stay than 4 days, and hopefully a hotel stay right in Manhattan. Although our hotel at the Hyatt in beautiful New Brunswick, NJ was great (loved our beds and the buffet breakfast was fabulous and abundant), the early morning travelling time spent to and from Manhattan was a bit much. Also would prefer better pit-stops for lunch breaks other than food courts. Other than those 3 issues, Comfort Tour you did a fantastic job! We’ve definitely recommended you to family and friends. Keep up the great work!

We just returned from a great New York City trip and had the time of our lives. Our tour guide Gerda and bus driver John were absolutely the most professional people ever. They knew what was happening and their sense of humor made all of us feel right at home. I know that if we take another tour both my wife and I will surely try to have both Gerda and John on our bus. Thanks to Comfort Tours for the wonderful time and again thanks to Gerda and John for a job well done. Mike and Nancy.
We took the recent trip to NYC during the Labour Day weekend Aug 31-Sep 3.
Let me start by conveying a big "Thank you" for arranging this awesome tour to New York City. This was our first trip to New York and I can honestly say was memorable and incredible.
My heartfelt thanks to the very funny and incredible tour guide Gerda Francis and the best driver John, he drove us safely and manoeuvred the streets of NYC so well, I was very impressed.
Our tour guide, Gerda, was a delight. Absolutely friendly, humorous, knowledgeable, entertaining and we were always on schedule everywhere. She truly deserves a 'certificate of merit' for being such a wonderful tour guide. She made the trip totally enjoyable.
The hotel Hyatt in New Brunswick was good and we explored the neighbouring streets. Although located at a distance from NYC, Gerda our tour guide gave us excellent directions from Penn Station and a copy of the train schedule, which made it super easy for us to return from NYC.
If I have to make one suggestion, it would be to extend this tour by a day or two as it was tiring to shop and tour NYC in two days. We would have loved to visit the Brooklyn Bridge; sadly we only got to see it from across the Pier. That's the only suggestion I have.
I once again thank Comfort Tours, JOHN our driver and lovely super-duper guide GERDA FRANCIS for making our trip to New York so memorable.
Thank you!
Annette Vernon & Doreen Middlecoat
My family had a tour to New York on August 23-26th, 2012. It was a great experience for my family. The tour was well organized and we were provided plenty information for the trip. Both the tour guide and the bus driver were professional and very responsible. Joe, the tour guide was nice and funny. He told us stories and jukes and played games with us on the bus which made the long ride more enjoyable. The local tour guide is very good too. In New York, we were given the freedom to choose either staying with the group or going on our won. When we decided to move on our own on the second day in New York, Joe provided us detailed information regarding New York's subway information and train schedule, and how to get back to our hotel. Overall, this is a well managed tour. I am certainly recommending it to whoever considering a bus tour.
