Things to do in Boston

There are so many things to do in Boston! Some ideas for free in time are Catch a Red Sox game at Fenway Park and riding a Swan Boat at the Boston Public Gardens.

To many the sculpture and storybook, ‘ Make way for Ducklings ‘, is synonymous with Boston. The sculpture is based on a delightful children’s story set in the Boston Public Gardens – a popular destination for young and old.

In October 4, 1987 a bronze sculpture of Mrs. Mallard and her eight ducklings was installed on old Boston cobblestones. Visit Boston Public Gardens and spend time near the sculpture watching all the children hug, kiss, climb on and feed the ducks…

Find time to ride 50 floors to the Skywalk at the Prudential Tower for a 360′ panorama of Boston and visit the Dreams of Immigrant Museum. Take a ferry to Boston Harbor Islands National Park. Visit the John F. Kennedy Presidential Museum & Library.

Take the ‘T’ to Brookline to visit the John F. Kennedy Boyhood Home. The ‘T’ is the local name for the Boston public transit. The home is about a 6 block walk from the ‘T’ stop, with a lovely neighbourhood main street to explore.
