The community has an interesting connection to Alexander Graham Bell. In fact, the famous inventor spent many summers in the area.

After checking into the hotel, you’ll have free time to explore Baddeck. You may also choose to learn more about Alexander Graham Bell during your visit.

Experience the Famous Cabot Trail

Today we’ll experience one of the highlights of our East Coast adventure — the Cabot Trail.

After breakfast, we’ll depart Baddeck for a full day of spectacular sightseeing.

The Cabot Trail winds through some of Cape Breton Island’s most beautiful landscapes. Along the way, enjoy views of mountains, forests and the Atlantic coastline.

We’ll also travel through communities that reflect the area’s rich Acadian heritage. Your Tour Director will share stories about the history and culture of Cape Breton.

Next, we’ll continue through the Cape Breton Highlands National Park area.

We’ll travel toward Pleasant Bay, which sits between beautiful mountains. The area is famous for its coastal scenery and peaceful atmosphere.

Finally, we’ll return to Baddeck after a memorable day exploring Cape Breton.

Travel to Prince Edward Island

Our journey continues toward beautiful Prince Edward Island.
