Hello! Iʼm Marilyn. I extend a warm hand shake to you.

In the 1980ʼs I was looking for life to take me in a new direction. A brochure from Seneca College set me on the best career choice, their 4 month full time tour guide / tour director program. Previously I had been a public school teacher and a stay-at-home – mom. I have never looked back. I now include Toronto Tour Guide, Licensed Niagara Parks Tour Guide and Certified Tour Manager (International Association of Tour Managers Ltd.) in my resume. I am a founding member and a past president of the Canadian Tour Guide Association of Toronto. I have escorted groups across Canada, Eastern United States, the Caribbean and Europe.

I have always called Toronto home. One of my first holidays as a young girl was to Boston and New York. One of the bonuses in working for Comfort Tours is interacting with people from around the world who now live in the Toronto Region.

I begin with my introductory phone call to those participating in my upcoming tour, welcoming everyone in the international language of respect and courtesy. I want to know how I can meet your holiday expectations. My goal is to make your holiday entertaining, fun and educational. I am constantly reviewing my assignments to keep up-to-date on the latest facts, attractionsʼ hours and admission, special exhibits, city events etc. After my tour I want you to return home and share your wonderful holiday experience with family, friends and co-workers.
