Gerda

I was born and raised in Belgium, and later lived in the UK and France before Canada became my home. From an early age I was very interested in other cultures, history, and geography, and so found myself traveling extensively in Europe. I speak fluent English, French, German, Flemish, Dutch, and some basic Spanish.

For the last 22 years, I have been a Tour Manager based in Toronto, and my profession has taken me all over this wonderful country from the West to the East, and North to South. I have also worked in the US including Alaska and Hawaii, Central and South America, Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.

When I am not working, I enjoy cooking, walking, reading, and listening to music. Tour Managing is still more a passion than a job for me, and I derive great satisfaction out of introducing my passengers to new experiences.  I do, of course, enjoy meeting new people, and listening to their stories. I take pride in looking after my guests each and every day to make their trip very special and memorable.

Comfort Tour offers truly great tours with really interesting itineraries, but one of my favourites is definitely the 4-day New York, as it gives me a chance to share my passion for the Big Apple!  Let’s have a fun trip together!
